Hi , I have posted before but it has been 2 years. I am a 10 year sufferer of classic episodic cluster attacks. My cycles are triggered typically by vacation, bed rest, etc and last up to 1 1/2 months with 0 -4 attacks a day.

Last year I tried Nortriptyline for my typical summer vacation nightmare and it stopped my cycle in its tracks. I combined the 25mg of Nortriptyline with watertimes3 and avoidance of known food triggers and total acohol abstinance. I took the drug for a month and a half because I didn't know if the cycle would come back if I stopped.

This spring I tried the same routine and it took a week to take effect but here I am 3 weeks into the cycle and no clusters for the past 2 weeks. I even dared to drink tequila last night and tonight I am indulging in a glass of whisky and absolutely no sign of the beast.

I hope that this works for someone else out there. I feel as though I have a new lease on life. Not afraid to sleep, not afraid to relax, not afraid to leave the house without my o2 and frozen peas.

Love you all, you haven't changed a bit in 2 years since my last post!!!

Murraka, knocking on wood
