The one I'm most familiar with is Tylox. It's an acetaminophine with codeine. I take it for the pain as soon I feel a CH coming on. My prescription allows for six tablets per day at 500mg each. (I sometimes double my prescription)
I have taken Tylox for the past 15 years, and have found it to be as effective as any other pain killers out there.
You'll need a good doc to get Tylox. It requires a handwritten prescription each time, no refills.
