Frank: it APPERARS that a small blood vessel in the sclera (white) has ruptured. These are usually of no consequence, happen without a know cause or injury, and resolve in a week.

However, you should get your blood pressure checked, if it is high, it can cause this condition. (How high does our blood pressure go during a CH???)

If the "spot" is raised, you should get it looked at immediately.

When in doubt, get it checked out!
