I am currently taking 1500mg/day of Depakote, up from 750.
It has started to work consistently, but your blood levels need to be monitored.
There are posts in the archives about others using this and some are positive.
Survey shows 78% haven't tried it.
BUT, it is not something that will work right away. You have to build up the levels in your body before it becomes effective.
There are side effects, as with all others drugs, but I haven't had a big problem with them.
