I never had mouth pain but I'm sure others can tell you differently. Clusters are nasty and no doubt the worst pain on earth. They are not dangerous but they can be debilitating because of sleep deprivation. Many of the members here fear sleep as most of us get hit after an hour or so in bed. I wonder if your aunt was taking Imitrex? It's what a lot of people here take to kill this thing. As far as painkillers go, I don't know if anything is all that good. Keep reading and keep us posted.
