My 15 year old son broke his pelvic bone on the left side yesterday morning playing kickball in phy-ed. He is on vicodin for pain and crutches to get around. No work for 2-3 weeks for now. In 3 weeks he starts physical therapy. He was suppose to start a new job this week. The boss was understanding but he was looking forward to finally getting some hours and making some money. He was going on his first camping trip tonight and that got canceled. He paid out of his own money $635 to go on a class trip for a week to Washington DC June 11-15. He will be sitting for 16 hours straight out and back and then walking all day long litterly for 3 days. I don't know if he will be able to handle that. He wants to go so bad but I am afraid I am going to have to keep him back. I am going to talk to the dr more and I can wait till the last min. to decide and it is possible for him to get his money back. Thank God we paid a little extra so if something happened and we needed to cancel we could get a refund. Yesterday was just such a emotionally draining day. Yuk! Thanks for listing.
