My How Timely. Just yesterday there was a phone in radio program on our CBC about Migraines. The guest star was a Dr William Price-Phillips, a professor at Memorial University. I was in awe, this guy knew his stuff!!! New drugs, frustration of the sufferers, successful and failed treatments, lifestyle choices.
I phoned in and asked the question whether Cluster Headache was a subcategory of Migraine. The expert's answer (on air) was definitely NO, cluster is an entity of it's own, yet some of the migraine treatments are also appropriate for Cluster.
We all know that Clusters are lumped in under migraine in the eye of the medical community. The media could help to clarify the facts. (no personal opinion will be offered here about the relationship between the media and the facts)
