Ive recently (last thursday) started to get constant headaches.... On thursday morning of last week I woke up to the feeling like someone had just hit me in the back of the head with a sledge hammer. It was the most severe pain I have ever experienced in my life and believe me Ive experienced pain before. I was screaming in pain with my eyes watering and everything.... Thankfully I had had some narcotic pain killers left from a surgery recently so I took about 3-4 percocets and it took enough of an edge off I wasnt screaming any more. I went to my family doctor and explained the whole thing to him and he examined me. His diagnosis was that I had a Combination headache, which for those that dont know is a Migrane and a tension headache at the same time. He gave me a shot of torridal(painkiller) and some migrane medicine and a few prescrips of muscle relaxer and pain killers.

For the past weekend Ive stayed pretty doped up on the pain killers and muscle relaxers. and also for the past weekend my headache has been kept down to being fairly tolerable. I ran out of painkillers yesterday and today again my head feels like it's going to explode... Ive tried tylenol and everything......

It's a throbbing pain and it's in the back of my head. Normal light and normal noise dont bother it... if it's extremely bright light or extremely loud noise it does.... Pressure seems to bother it also, if I stand up too quick or something to that effect.

My question is, Does this sound like a Cluster headache to you guys? I am seeing a doctor tomorrow but I dont really trust doctor's too too much, the ones around here dont seem to bright to me...

Thank you
for your help
Brian
