I've tried this and it does kinda work. It's quite a safe drug but don't take too much! The long acting version is better, it comes in 24 hour release form. Allegedly ou can take up to 4 of the HALF STRENGTH ones in 24 hours (but take them 6 hours apart). I wouldn't recommend taking more than 2 though! Tablet is best taken at bedtime with amitrytoline.
