1. What made you first suspect clusterheadaches?
I have ch and his areas of pain where in the same areas of pain as mine. Around/ in the eye, to the jaw, the ear, just the same exact bumps and tender spots and sensativities.

2. Who diagnosed your child? Did you end up with a pediatric specialist? Headache clinic? GP? Neuro?
Neuro

3. Once diagnosed - did you find a way to manage their cycle? If so, how? If not, how do you help your child cope with the pain?
My son takes duradrin to abort ha. He is eposodic. The last first cycle seemed to last 6 weeks. They did not give him anything for pain. That really upset me. There was no need for it. Had there been a need and they still wouldn't I guess I would have given him some of my percecet or vicodin or stadol. I have an arsonal around here.

4. If you could summarize your best advice to a parent who is looking for answers regarding their child's head pain - what would that
advice be? Talk to your drs and dont be afraid to ask questions. However, some of the best advice will come from ch.com out of the mouths of people who suffer daily or live with someone who suffers. Ask your child how you can help them when they are in pain. Some may want a back rub or scalp rub. Others may want to be left alone and not touched at all.
