except Charlie's method doesn't cost money, and would require the same sort of "mental channelling" that these "bones/stones" would require... and Charlie's method works if it's done in time - for me. I usually forget to try it until it's too late. I seldom rely on inanimate objects (unless its a syringe, nasal spray, or tablet) for relief.
