You are on one of the least harmful prophylactic drugs. There is no big hurry to quit if you are not having any side effects. If your headaches go away...fantastic. Continue the medication for a couple of months anyway to make sure the cluster is over. Then taper down. The calcium channel blockers are very safe medications for long term use...and preventing the headaches from returning is always my first priority.
