Hi! I'm new here--I ran across it as I was doing
research on headaches.

I'm a 24 year old female. About 4 years ago, I got
what my dr. determined to be my first cluster headache.
My left eye started watering and swelled up a bit,
that side of my nose felt like a brick was stuffed up
it, and I experienced the most unbelivable pain I have
ever experienced in my life. I have had them on and
off ever since. When I get them, I cry, cuss, hit
stuff (not humans) and basically wish I was dead.
I'm to the point of taking Alka-Seltzer and asprin
until I finally pass out from the drugs. If I get
one, I know I'm in for plenty more for at least a week.

I realize what I'm describing may not be cluster
headaches although the dr. has diagnosed it as such.
When I'm not getting the headaches described above,
I'm keeping sinus headaches for anywhere from 1 day to
two weeks at a time. They are very different from the
others--they don't hurt as bad.

Here's my question: if I am getting cluster headaches,
could my allergies be a trigger? What about asthma
medication?

If I shouldn't post here--sorry!
