Hypotalamus 'clocks' the hours of light and night.
My attacks follow the hypotalamus clock, and not the daylight savings time and/or the change of time zones (e.g. my attacks in Italy starts at 12 PM, 2 AM, 4 AM. ... when in other world places starts at the same Italy hours.

This could exclude the light effects, and, perhaps, the REM trigger
