The trick is to find an MD who knows about headaches. My MD in Vancouver is the one who suggested it to me in the first place and I was the one who was skeptical! He was a member of something like ACHE so perhaps that may be one way to screen MD's; find one who is a member of one of these headache organizations. I can't remember the name of the Canadian HA org but it's around the web somewhere and you could check with them for member MD's in your area.
