The part about the hypothalamus being the "thermostat" and controlling things like shivering rings a bell here. I can always tell when an HA is gone for sure because every time it leaves I immediately become cold and "shiver". Does anyone else have this reaction? I also always belch, but I don't know what that means.
Anyway, you're doing good work here, keep it up!
