Hi Sandie! I have been on Verapamil for a week now, and at first I was exteremely tired. Couldn't seem to get up and get moving to do anything, and like you I have a child. I continually feel better everyday now that I have gotten adjusted to it. The only thing that I find is I get hot flashes throughout the day. Hope it works for you, just give a little time for your body to adjust.
