about his symptoms. It sounds like you're saying he has the head pain 24 hours-per-day, non-stop and has for years on end with the intensity jumping several times per day but the pain always there. CHs for the most part don't last more then 4 hours, although shadows (lesser headache, in this case) can remain for a long time. But I don't think they'd last for days, let alone years. Although, I guess it's possible. I think if you gave us more information we can help to see if he's been diagnosed correctly and seeking the proper treatment. I don't remember the name of it but there are headaches associated with blows to the head. Also, if you can tell us what the meds were a to z and he does actually have CH we can tell you what's worked for us.
