My BP and pulse shoot waaaaay high at peak pain levels. (Both are quite normal otherwise) O2 doesn't seem to effect it either way.
I assume it's an adrenaline rush) Whatever the cause, it has to be a big strain on the heart! So far the worst reaction for me is the "heavy chest" feeling, heart pounding, some arrhythmia and profuse sweating. Luckily for me, Verapamil has been kicking ass for the last 7+ months!
In my humble opinion, you should get a cardio checkup to be sure!
