I've always assumed it was the vasso-dialating effects of the alcohol which triggered a headache when I was in an active cluster.
I've read some stuff about treating alcoholism with 5-HT effecting substances. I wonder if the alcohol is acting on the same screwed up part of our brain that CH is and that's what causes the headache?
