by increasing the work available due to increase glucose metabolism. Habituation would occur faster. Habituation is viewed fundamental to neuro processing in a Correlational Opponent Processing model. The brain reduces neuro firing by forming inverse wavelets which function as a wavelet or holographic filter.

Pain is likely to be due discrepancies between previous memories and the current information input on two or more channels of information. In essence the nucleus accumbens forced the system to learn the current neurological condition faster therefore it is no longer discrepant. In principle the brain can be entrained to due this temporarily with symmetry music.
