I don't know if this is possible or not, but it seems to me that smoking cigarettes may put off the headsaches. I am a closet smoker and while on vacation I didn't smoke at all. During this period my headaches came on strong. After we got home I felt one coming on one day. I went in the bedroom to smoke before it came on strong and the symptoms instantly went away. Since then I have smoked 3 to 4 cigs a day and I haven't had a headache since. I only suffered for about 3 weeks.
I don't know if the smoking is why and I know that we are all different, but if you look at the sufferers profile on this site, you will notice the small percentage of sufferers who smoke. I know it is a nasty habit, but we all know the other option
