I know, for Mike, if he leaves it too long to get to the oxygen, that it doesn't help him anymore and he sure can't stand there long enough for it to work, once he's past the 'point of no return'.
I can't comment as to the flow, because he uses welder's oxygen without a formal regulator. But if he gets it soon enough -- at the very first twinge of an attack -- he has about an 80% success rate with it.
