re:
"broken record" ?
no apologies for that -that's how things get worked out - you go back over & over again, each time hopefully tweaking out one more little bit of info - and if it seems to be "coming together" more than it's falling apart, you keep at it until & unless you hit an insurmountable dead-end
if you do, you start over

re: "one-sided" aspect ?
not an exclusion - lots of bodily structure/function is one-sided
measure your two feet,
is anyone TRULY ambidextrous
nearly all eyes see unequally - it goes on & on
the body simply isn't axially symetrical

re: what about chronic & irregular episodic ?
again - don't see this as exclusionary
there are wide ranges of severity/intensity in all syndromes and abilities

re:
why not consistently seasonal year-in year-out?
again - not exclusionary - there are undoubtedly LOTS of mitigating & aggravating factors in each patient's makeup - just like any disease or handicap - "some days are better than others"

re:
soimeone's claim there is no genetic or hereditary aspect ?
maybe, maybe not - depends on what scale you're looking at - and what time frame - recent generation history is not ALL there is to evolution, and as powerful a tool as DNA analysis is, it doesn't answer ALL questions related to descendency -

re: what we need is enough publicity to provoke research - EXACTLY - I'm not making this stuff up - every bit of it has come from one peer-reviewed medical research report or another

re: primarily vascular or primarily neural ?
this is developing knowledge at this time - it is beginning to look like the neural aspect is MUCH MUCH more important than anyone thought before

re: oxygen effect - oxygen willl drive blood vessel constriction, it also (or as part of that mechanism)affects melatonin release - perhaps with CH it requires BOTH actions to be effective - again - this is developing info, that's the whole reason we're all working on it !
everybody has a different way of looking at things such as this
mine tends to be to look at large patterns, drawn from large groups, not individual anecdotal accounts (including my own)

keep digging everybody !
