I've been thinking about Sailpappy all morning here, and it hit me that we could have lost him on Sunday and we would never have known. Personally, I find that thought to be very sad.
We've seen probably hundreds, maybe more, come and go from this site over the years and I wonder now how many we've actually lost. We will probably never know that.
I'm wondering if we could all appoint a buddy in our lives who could remember to think of ch.com in the event of an emergency and just post a short note. We ARE family here, but this is the internet afterall, and the people in your life probably wouldn't think to let us know if anything happens.
Just a thought.
