Cluster Heads

I sit here and wonder when it will hit next, when will the demon take his next breath.
Tonight he sleeps resting for his work, preparing for another strike. Will it be his worst?
He comes when I sleep and I am at my weakest state.
He knows this will make me become completely irate.
He is a demon like no other,
he is a demon that makes me shudder.
I live in this hell that very few can understand,
they look at me like I am a freak not a man.
He is destroying my life and making it hell,
I look at the world from behind my closed cell.
I hide at work because I am embarrassed to let others see,
what the demon can do to me.
They will lock me away thinking I am a freak,
or will they say I am another drugged out geek.
But then I find this group of friends.
Wouldn’t you know it they use the name cluster head.
I read it and laughed OH what a name,
these people must be hurting or totally insane.
I read up on the site, found some messages to,
it turned on a light Oh could this all be true?.
Could these people really understand?
Can they know this demon, that has lead me by the hand.
I signed up for a chat with the local group,
needed to find out if they really understood.
I felt my way around and to my surprise,
they were not insane they were my kind of guys.
The group was cheerful but gave support,
they laughed and played but knew how it hurt.
To me this was a heaven inside of my hell,
they give me a reason to keep climbing the hill.
Supporters and suffers they all come together,
they show me that even the hell is sometimes better.
For focus and guidance we all come together,
we fight the fight because no one person is better.
Just like a family we all have our differences,
but when one cries HELP ME we all come together.
Cluster heads we are proud to carry the name,
even though we would much rather not carry the pain.
We have a family come in and you will see.
We pull together to beat the demon just you wait and see.
