I too become very depressed right when my cycle starts not to mention during, although I think it is more from the fear of knowing what lies ahead. My doctor did give me Paxil for the first time this year so we shall see what they do! I have never taken anti depressants other than Lithium years ago for the clusters.
I just started my cycle 3 days ago so too soon too tell if anything works. Apparently, the anti depressants are supposed to help if you are also using a beta-blocker at the same time. Good luck to you!
