I, too, have a family member who suffers from this pain. Encourage your godfather to hang in there and continue to try any and everything possible. I am a personal believer in the relationship between CH and thyroid abnormality. Search the archive for thyroid and pass along any helpful info to your godfather. Encourage him to also visit this site himself. He will gladly reach for help-I actually found this site for my family member, and he was elated to just read that he was not alone.
