My husband has suffered from clusters for about 20 years, most always at night. He also has sleep apnea and Wilson's disease....don't know if there's any relation. Anyway, the ONLY thing that helps his is Imitrex nasal spray. Problem is, the expense. For some reason, the insurance company has determined that you are only allowed 6 prescriptions per month. So, I guess you're not allowed to have more that 6 clusters a month?! Does ANYONE understand this or know why? This is frustrating and in desperation, I am looking into hypnosis. Has anyone ever tried this? I was amazed to find that I've not seen it mentioned anywhere.
