I don't believe stress will bring on a CH. After the clusters wake you in the night, every night, you soon fear going to sleep at all. When you can't sleep your job suffers and you worry about it. You don't dare get to far from home because home is where the oxygen tank is. One thing piles on top of another and another. NO, stress doesn't cause clusters. Clusters cause stress.
