Because it doesn't care. With all the horror and suffering displayed here, I have no illusions about a benevolent diety. I leave that to others. Life is ridiculous and fleeting. Why we are chosen to ride out this shit storm is anyone's guess.
I've had similar experiences such as when I discovered a blood soaked sleeve while shaving. I still don't know how I did it. All I know it that I hurt like hell for a long time. Still, I would have traded my CH pain for a seizure many times. Both of these are now under much better control.
Reading your story really pisses me off. Look what this does to us. It's all consuming and it wastes so much of our time. Damn, I feel bad for you but there isn't a damn thing I can do.
