Judy,
I know it doesn't do much for your pain, but I DO know exactly how you feel and have expressed it almost the same way for the past two years.
I had a surgery that left one of my eyes messed up and I now have a patch on the left side and no depth perception on the right, so I look like a 100 year old out walking with my cane. BUT, I do go out and even if I spill things trying to eat with one side numb, I do it. I don't have the pain now, just a bunch of other problems, but I do have a little of my life back and it's so different from the past two years that I plan to enjoy it.
So there is some hope left. I'm here if you need to vent and so are the rest of the family. We know you pain (really).
