You're correct -- Vioxx primary use is for osteo arthritis. I do not have arthritis. I was first given Vioxx to treat a touch of bursitis in my right shoulder. After about 4 weeks the shoulder was fine and I noticed that I didn't have any headaches during that time -- VERY UNUSUAL for me. I told my doc about this, who is also very familiar with my history of CH, and asked if I could stay on Vioxx to treat CH. He agreed and I take one, 12.5 mg tablet daily. So far, so good.
