I agree with you. I've been a clusterhead since 1959 and I can't recall a single instance of stress alone
precipitating a cluster attack. In fact, my sad experience is that, as you point out, going into an UN-
stressful period is more likely to trigger an attack. Last summer, for example, a three-week vacation was
ruined, when The Demon decided to join me. My current episode began on Presidents' Day weekend. When I was
in the Army, The Demon always joined me when I went on leave. At that time, the late '50's and early '60's,
I had no idea what these horrors could be. I finally got the correct diagnosis in 1986.
