I have been using oxygen for ten years with great success.I have read recommendations of any where from 8 to 12 units.My first try with oxygen was a waste of time,but out of desperation one day I put tape over the vent holes and turned the high flow gage up all the way (15+)and got relief in about 5 minutes.The trick is to get the oxygen level in your blood up as quick as you can by whatever means available.I exhale by blowing the air out from around the mask and inhale pure oxygen,it won't hurt you but if you are not getting relief within a few minutes its probably not going to be a solution for your headaches.
