Well, I, too, hate the days after a night of clusters. I discovered that Imitrex is my only solution because I think that awful headache that seems to sneak in after a couple of clusters (which in my case seem to respond well to O2) is a migraine.. Usually I am so exhausted that I am not paying real close attention but it seemed to me the other morning after the cluster pain faded, something else started up. I have never been certain before what this pain was. I finally gave myself a shot and lo and behold, no pain and I could get on with my day.
This cycle of CHs is as weird as the last. I think it's over because i will go 4 or 5 days with no HA and then I am zapped with as many as 4 in one night. It makes for a rough next day but the Imitrex seems to have saved the day for me lately!
