Yes, I was diagnosed with them about ten years ago. No, I have not seen a neurologist (Just an ER where they did cat scans and all that). And my PCP prescribed me some Loritabs. I do not like to take medications though and frankly I think the Loritabs are a waste of time. They do not seem to be directed at the problem. However, I am currently trying to get him to prescribe some Immatrex (Sp?).
Hubris says I can deal with it all on my own (As I have for many years). However, These are worse and last longer than ever before. (Last night for instance, the 'attack' lasted for about 5 hours. and again today. Whew!) Anyway, I have about six or so a day of variable duration and cannot seem to get any sleep (up app. 4 days now). (I am good right now though! Thank God. But I know it's going to come back soon, I can feel it.)
