i am new to the site only been here a week. but i would like to share some tricks i have learned in my 6 years of fighting the beast. first off, to combat the nightly attacks when you are sleeping, i have found that sleeping in a cool room, or with a fan blowing on my head has drastically reduced my sleep attacks. i am ending a cluster right now, and for the last 2 weeks i havnt had one at night. secondly, for everyone who have had attacks without meds, we all know how bad that is. i have learned that making yourself hyperventalate works to cut down the time of the beast for me. i don't know if this will work for you, and if it is healthy, but when you are in the middle of the shit, you'll try anything. also quitting smoking has lessened the severity of the pain in my chs. hope this info can help someone.
