I found this site after reading an article on ABCNews about CH. The more I read the more I realized that I suffered the same symptons as CH sufferers.
After being misdiagnosed with sinus headaches and ingesting Claritin and Allegra with no results I found a new doctor who diagnosed my CH and prescribed Imitrex pills (Holy cow! $488 for 27 pills?? Good thing for prescription plans).
I have often described the pain as a little guy in my head trying to wedge a railroad spike into my brain with a hammer but the spike won't budge so he keeps banging away. I'm in the 4th week with the pain at times unbearable if I don't catch it in time for the pill to take effect.
I'm back to the doctor in 3 weeks for a follow up. Thanks for the website and all the info, it has shed a whole new light on an old problem.
