I'm 51 years old and a chronic sufferer for 21 years. I never went more than a few days or, at most, a couple of weeks without an attack. Sometimes 4-6 a day! 18 months ago my doc put me on Vioxx (one, 12.5 mg tablet daily) and I haven't had a single attack. Imagine 18 months pain free -- for me it's a miracle. (Vioxx is primarily for the treatment of osteo arthritis, but I don't have arthritis -- my doc is familiar with my CH history and together we decided to try the Vioxx to manage CH).
Please talk with your doc. Vioxx might be a good choice for you.
