My mother chronic for 14 years, the only thing that every worked prophylactically is Verelan 600mg titrated up and down depending on the feeling for the week, It worked like a miricle drug two years ago for 20 months. One day it just stopped working. Back to 4-6 CH a day. It was devistating. after being off Verelan for almost 5 months she is back on it and its been 12 days and not even a twinge. She feels so good that she is down know to 460mg at HS. Here's to hoping it works again like before.
