Hi, I am sorry to say I rarely get to the message board to read messages and apologigize if this is a subject that has come up before. Since having the headaches and sleep problems keeping up with reading or anything else is a problem. I have had cluster headaches for about 12 years. Because my brother has sleep apnea I was tested for it in hopes it would find a reason or relief from the headaches. I do have not only sleep apnea ( I sleep on a sleep machine) but also restless leg (for which I take Sinemet). I have suspected and been asked to also be tested for fibromyalgia. My doctors seem to think I am depressed and dont take my medical problems seriously anymore. Therefore I doubt I will ever get them to request a test for fibromyalgia. I filed for social security disability over a year ago but so far its been denied. I am 59 and live on a very small income. My questions are...do any of you have the same combination of ailments, and do have any of you filed for disability that can give me any suggestions there. I cant work and havent been able to for years. I also have a normal low blood pressure and sometimes low blood sugar in case those are something that some of us share. I suspect I have sinus trouble which may play in but so far xrays and MRIs have not shown anything. I have an ENT appointment this week after begging for a referral for years. As far as I know these are the only health problems I have and up until the headaches started I was in good health. I have not been diagnoses with fibromyalgia..I just suspect it from the times I feel like I was run over by a truck. I have been diagnosed with everything else I mentioned. Any help or suggestions any of you have I would appreciate. I am currently in remission from the headaches after taking Sansert. But the sleepiness and fatigue continue promping my sleep doctor to sugest I see a psychiatrist. As most of you know it is so frustrating to have to not only suffer but to convince the doctors you need help.
Thanks
Brenda
