Fear of heights is one of the first fears that can be measured in infants - it is hard-wired into the human brain. It is also a common trigger for the dreaded medical condition known as the "heebee-jeebees." Even been on the Mathews Bridge in Jax, FL?? On a good day it is bearable, but on a bad day, my heart is pounding and my palms are sweaty.
