...here are my not so humble opinions and advice:
1. Lose the pain killers. They do nothing to abort an attack.
2. Print out the medical info. on the site, read it carefully, and take it with you when--
3. You see a neurologist and develop a plan for managing your attacks.
4. Especially ask him/her about Verapamil (calan)and oxygen. Imitrex would be a great abortive, but your doc will have to make that evaluation.
