sue, at the first hint of an impending attack, i stop communicating, its automatic for me . no talking. i distance myself from everyone. my wife and childrun know not to approach me. i've never been violent, or blacked out. but i dodn't want any caring questions! i must be alone till its over! i usually hide in the cellar. there is no excuse for violence, but i would keep away during an attack.
