Are you taking something else with the topamax? I never had a reaction at all to it. All the warnings never bothered me. I never felt any different. In fact I didn't even realize why I was loosing weight until six months later when my neuro said it had that side effect. But other than that, I've experience nothing except relief of the pain of CH.
The only other med I take is a mild anti-depressant for the paralysis in my face (weird it has no feeling but it burns if I don't take the anit-depressant). Other than that I'm off all the other meds except cafagot when I get a breakthru CH.
Hope things get better for you, but you need to call your doc. This isn't right and you should NOT be going through this.
