I'm writing this at your request for more details regarding my experience with shrooms "under less than desireable conditions".
I have attempted this aid (I won't say cure) on 3 separate occasions. The first time, I don't think I did enough, so I tried again 10 days later.Although I believe I did more, the results were basically nil. I convinced myself that I needed a bit stronger dose, and I also needed to lessen my lithium level in order to gain effectiveness. So, I did receive a stronger dose on my third experience, however, looking back, I am convinced that I did not reduce my lithium level enough. i.e. long enough, to allow the shrooms to be effective. I now know that virtually any lithium levels can counteract the effectiveness of shrooms. My dilemma now is to find a way, with work and family responsibilities, to clear my system of the only medication that has been at all helpful long enough to try the shroom treatment one more time. The thought of living for a time with regular, frequent, and massive pain, (ala Carl) scares the shit out of me, and makes me fear fgor my job, which I've had for only 4 weeks. At some point, I'll be able to take vacation, and then.....
