Sorry for the confusion. I hope I didn't offend any one. I just wanted to let those taking topamax and other GABA drugs that there can be reactions at higher doses.
The last time I was given a GABA drug (other than topamax) in an emergancy room situation, I had to be strapped to the gurny, it was touch & go as I was put on life support in ICU, ended up having a five day loss of memory, left with short term memory disfunction and mild cognative imparement.
Believe me, I know what you are going through.
My heart goes out to you and your family.
