Fit like gadji's? (hi - how are you people?)
Over here in Aberdeen Scotland we have our own language called Doric. Locals intermingle it with English, a lot of the words are already dervied from English. A couple of words we use:
Nae = this means "no", it's pronounced neigh (like the sound a horse makes).
Mates = just like the English word this means "friends". Pronounced like it reads.
The point of this is the hybrid Doric/English rythming slang phrase that applies to Daniel:
Daniel is Norman Bates: Nae Mates!
I hope the humour translated OK.
