When you have a new prescription filled, you are entitled to the pamphlet that comes in the box that the pharmacist receives it in. If not the actual pamphlet, then a consultation, if requested.
Most pharmacists are more than happy to take the time to educate you and "it's the law" that the pharmacy clerk ask you if you need an explanation on the drug you are purchasing.
